I booked Headstart Skillz with our HAF vouchers and my son has been having an absolutely amazing time! They have been doing so many different activities that my son wouldn’t normally be able to take part in along with also learning life-saving skills, couldn’t rate it high enough and my son is gutted that it’s ending next week! Keep up the good work, you are doing so much for these children, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Headstart Skillz Retreats
In May 2025 we ran our first Headstart LIFE Skillz retreat for 12 – 16 year olds at the Old Barracks, in Reading. Running across 2 days, the retreat was a blend of mindset workshops, physical fitness training, situational awareness and recreational activities.

Our Alternative Offerings
As well as our renowned holiday camps, we also help to develop the physical, mental and social skills of children through workshops, school PSHE lessons, online safety sessions and 1-2-1 mentoring.

Online Safety Sessions
Our popular online safety sessions are designed to provide families and schools the knowledge and tools to help protect children from potential online dangers and to understand the risks associated with the internet and how to protect themselves.
Youth Club Sessions
We run bespoke events for youth clubs, sports clubs, and schools on request, enabling us to deliver essential life skills to young people in a variety of environments. Get in touch to discuss your specific needs.
Mental Health Support
In our commitment to mental health and well-being, we extend our focus to both staff and children through training programs. These initiatives are designed not only to equip children with formal qualifications but also to provide them with invaluable skills for navigating their daily lives.
1-2-1 Mentoring
In our commitment to individualised support, we collaborate closely with schools to identify students who would benefit from a quieter, more personal approach. Our 1-2-1 mentoring engages with not just the student but also the school and their family.
