Charlie Austin
Professional Football Player
Charlie has been our ambassador since day 1 and has given so much of his time meeting with teachers, pupils and campers. He uses his influence as a professional football player to engage with young people and provide insights on his career, how he has dealt with rejection and how he has overcome these challenges.

KM’s Story (17 years old)
Before I met Jack, I was missing a lot of school and falling behind, and I was months away from taking my GCSE’s.
I was feeling anxious all of the time and I didn’t know how to handle it. It was causing problems outside of school as I didn’t know what to do and couldn’t see a way out.

Since I’ve been having sessions with Jack, it’s really helped me. He helped me find myself and allow me to gain confidence. We started in December and by June/July I was taking my GCSE’s and passed!
I am now in college and continuing my journey which didn’t feel possible. I don’t think I would be in school if he hadn’t been helping me. It’s good being with my mates again and I’m feeling more positive.
