I booked Headstart Skillz with our HAF vouchers and my son has been having an absolutely amazing time! They have been doing so many different activities that my son wouldn’t normally be able to take part in along with also learning life-saving skills, couldn’t rate it high enough and my son is gutted that it’s ending next week! We offer support to families, parents and carers through our renowned holiday camps, parent sessions and private mentoring sessions.
The team at Headstart Skillz are wonderful. My 10 year old attended their half term activity club and loved it. I’ve also seen the benefit of my 12 year old son having mentoring with Jack over the last few weeks. If you’re looking for a safe, fun and uplifting place for your kids during the holidays I’d highly recommend you give this a try.

Our Impact on Young People
JW’s Story (14 years old)
Before working with Headstart Skillz I was very impatient with everything and had very low resilience. I struggled with my mindset I used to see the world in an unpleasant way (dull and boring). I struggled to deal with grief and wanted to forget the past but couldn’t.
I am now able to see the positives in situations. I have definitely become more resilient, focused and ‘locked in’ on most tasks now.

I now drink a lot more water and feel better for it. I also take care about how much sugar I eat. It makes me a better person and make me feel better.
